The 'Big Bench' in the panoramic Via delle Ciazze

Once past the village of Rossiglione Inferiore, just a few metres from the road to Tiglieto, another left turn leads along the very panoramic Via delle Ciazze. This is an unmissable road for those who love views. In just a few bends, it leads to the pass, and from here the view is splendid. On one side is Rossiglione and Liguria, and on the other, lower Piedmont, with the rolling hills of Alto Monferrato and its many small villages. Perhaps it is because of this natural propensity for contemplation inherent in this site that a "Big Bench" has been placed here, a large coloured bench whose disproportion is a stimulus for photos and ironic narratives. The 'Big Bench' is a truly international movement. The aim of the "Big Bench Community Project" is to spread these large coloured benches as widely as possible, as a tangible symbol of friendship and respect for the environment. Born in the Langhe region, at the moment the giant benches are mainly concentrated in Piedmont and Northern Italy, but many others are under construction, also abroad.
