Val Gargassa

A few kilometres from Rossiglione is one of the most beautiful and important naturalistic areas in Liguria, the Val Gargassa. Included in the naturalistic heritage of the Beigua Park, Val Gargassa is extremely important for the wealth of biodiversity it hosts and for the relevant mineralogical characteristics that make it a quite rare unicum. In fact, the Gargassa valley is a steep canyon carved out of the rock, dotted with limpid lakes and overlooked by imposing conglomerate towers, for a panorama that will get you hooked on geology. No less important is its importance for lovers of trekking and similar disciplines. In fact, nestled between these rocky walls, numerous paths provide beautiful walks for those in search of tranquillity, serenity, contact with nature and a healthy sporting activity.
