Villa Bagnara

Villa Bagnara stands in the heart of Masone. It is certainly one of the symbols of the village, one of those places that all the townspeople feel represent their past and their identity. Villa Bagnara was built in 1906 by Attilio Bagnara, a wealthy railway entrepreneur and timber importer. In fact, the villa shows all the stylistic characteristics of that era, marked by the Art Nouveau style. Today the villa has two very important functions. It houses the visitor centre of Beigua Park - Unesco Global Geopark, the important body for the protection and promotion of a naturalistic area of great value and importance for Liguria. In addition, it houses the headquarters of the local committee of the Italian Red Cross, with its activities that are so important from the point of view of social solidarity.
