The Mill

A few kilometres from Masone, along the road leading to the Snake's Waterfall, in the heart of a village that seems to hide and protect it, there is an old mill, equipped with its ancient wheel. An ancient witness to a civilisation that no longer exists, the mill reminds us of a time, not so remote, when the local communities had to provide for themselves the main needs, including the basic one of flour production. Not only wheat, of course, but many other cereals were ground into the fine powder that is still so important in our diet today.
