The Snake's Waterfall

A few kilometres from Masone, which can be reached by asphalt road or pleasant walks, you can visit the Snake's Waterfall. The waterfall, truly remarkable and fascinating, is a destination for Sunday outings and for those who want to discover a fascinating piece of nature right in the heart of the Stura Valley. Inserted in the important context of Beigua Park, the waterfalls are part of an enhancement path especially dedicated to plant biodiversity. Holly, beech, chestnut, oak and even dogwood, ivy, juniper and cherry are just some of the many speciality trees that can be recognised and traced in this first-class naturalistic context. The Snake's Waterfalls are a unique opportunity to spend a few hours in contact with nature and to recover knowledge that goes to the discovery of the many species of trees that were so important in the past of our ancestors.
