GR24 Rocca Aldobrandesca, Semproniano

The Rocca Aldobrandesca di Semproniano is a small castle perched atop the village of the same name, in front of the church of Santa Croce. Only a few ruins remain, where visitors can discern the traces of the surrounding walls and the quadrangular base of the ancient castle. All the structures of the walls are surrounded by a series of trees, many of them cypresses, which allow one to identify the area from outside the inhabited centre.
