PI14 The Archaeological Museum and Area of San Genesio at San Miniato

At San Genesio there is concentrated the entire lifespan of a human habitation site, dating from the third-second century BCE through the fourteenth-fifteenth century CE; the archaeological area, with its museum, preserves the remains of the settlement, first built in correspondence with the nearby ancient road network, and then with the route of the Via Francigena.
