MC12 Villa Schiff-Giorgini - Montignoso

Villa Schiff-Giorgini is a splendid 19th-century residence, the current seat of the municipal administration and the venue for numerous cultural events. The villa, which is surrounded by a lavish park, is rich in white marble, making it one of the most beautiful in the area among those that are open to the public. Illustrious men have rested in the shade of its centuries-old trees, including Bettino Ricasoli, Massimo D'Azeglio and the famous English writer William Somerset Maugham, one of the leading representatives of English fiction in the early 20th century.
