LI10 Sterpaia Park

The Sterpaia Park, whose beaches have been awarded the Blue Flag since 2008, stretches across the wide gulf between Piombino and Follonica and covers an area of approximately 296 hectares, Including 17 hectares of sandy beaches, covering about 10 km of coastline, 124 hectares of dunes or backdunes and 155 hectares of woods and farmland. An enchanted environment where you can lose yourself among centuries-old oaks, in the company of the small animals that live there, until you discover the sea beyond the sand dunes. The Sterpaia Coastal Park is a protected natural area of local interest (Regional Law 49/1995).
