LI06 Rimigliano Coastal Park

The Rimigliano Coastal Nature Park, densely wooded and protected from the sea winds by a continuous series of dunes, is entirely within the municipality of San Vincenzo in the province of Livorno and includes about six kilometres of the Tuscan coast. The park is populated by a vast number of plant species, mostly typical Mediterranean species of maquis, as well as many animal species. Entrance to the park is free and can be gained either from the "della Principessa" provincial road or from the wide sandy beach that runs along its six-kilometre length. The park is easily accessible and fully usable by enthusiasts, especially in the period from October to May.
