GR08 National Archaeological Museum of the Ancient City of Cosa

In 1981, within the Archeological Area of Cosa, above the outlying structures beside an ancient Roman house, the National Museum of Cosa was constructed, the fruit of a collaboration between the Italian State and the American Academy in Rome, which chose the ancient Latin colony of Cosa as a privileged site for its research activities.
