The start of the loop is in the town square where the parish church of Santa Maria (19th century) in the baroque style is located, next to the Oratory of Sant'Antone (16th century) which houses the confraternity. Under the church square there is a beautiful fountain-washhouse with a large arched vault, which was one of the main sources of water for our population before the widespread use of running water. The first part of the itinerary is an ascent to the abandoned village of Occi which will allow you to discover a vast landscape on the coast of the commune of Lumiu. The arrival at Occi will plunge you into the past centuries, you will discover a place where time has stopped, sheltered by the stone walls that defy it. Then you will walk along a path with a unique panorama over the whole western part of the Balagne region. The return to Lumiu along a path lined with dry stone walls, will skim the small plain of the "Stella" at the foot of the monte Bracaghju, and you will discover a multitude of testimonies of the ancient agricultural use of these spaces, before leaving you at the foot of the Lomellini tower (16th century), to join your starting point by the lanes of our village.
