LI02 Livorno Aquarium

The Livorno Aquarium, located on Livorno's seafront in the Terrazza Mascagni, where it enjoys a prime position with a strong emotional and visual impact, is the largest aquarium in Tuscany. On the ground floor there are 33 exhibition tanks, a tunnel where sea eagles swim, a touch tank, a tank dedicated to the Indo-Pacific sea where the beautiful green turtles 'Ari' and 'Cuba' can be found together with blacktip sharks, zebra sharks and two specimens of Napoleon fish. On the first floor you enter the fascinating world of insects, amphibians and reptiles where you can see, among others, the fascinating and well-camouflaged chameleon, the poisonous arrow frogs, the horned frog, the blowing cockroach, the stick insect, the iguana and the leaf-cutter ants.
